The new service Reman is available to customers from Russia and the CIS countries from March 2021.
Now the engines, main hydraulic pumps, motors and cylinders, transmission axles, central joints, turn and stroke reducers, and silencers by the end of their service life can be replaced with similar repaired components by Hitachi Construction Machinery standards. These components will have the same technical and operational parameters as the new ones. Thus the customer get a Hitachi repair solution that minimizes owning and operating costs and maximizes fleet productivity. Plus, these components are backed by a comprehensive Hitachi Reman warranty. The Reman program is launched in addition to repair centers of Hitachi mining equipment. The repair centers of Hitachi Construction Machinery official dealers in Russia and the CIS – Minetech Machinery in Novokuznetsk and Eurasian Machinery in Karaganda. Those components and spare parts of mining equipment that cannot be repaired in the centers of Russian and Kazakh dealers, as well as components of construction machines, will be sent to the Hitachi manufacturing plant in Japan.
This program is quite simple: the dealer collects the component that needs to be remanufactured from the customer who receives a replacement remanufactured component and can continue their work with minimal downtime. The components are repaired and becomes available from the warehouse for the process to start again. The Reman components are more affordable than new components, they have HCM warranty and better for the environment.
