New agreement with TotalEnergies

Minetech Machinery has signed a partnership memorandum with TotalEnergies. TotalEnergies is a broad energy company that produces and markets energies on a global scale: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables and electricity. The agreement applies to the Hitachi mining equipment segment. Total RUBIA range of engine oils is one of the most comprehensive on the market. Rubia lubricants for gas and diesel engines have three main advantages. It is called T.I.R. technology: total protection, international approvals, reduced costs. The technology was created in a special TotalEnergies research center in France and currently has more than 200 approvals from truck manufacturers.

“Our new partner, Minetech Machinery, is a well-known company in the mining sector in Russia. Due to our partnership, the recognition of TotalEnergies products will increase significantly, and, of course, it will also become even closer for the consumers. Regional branches of our partner in Russia, availability of products in warehouses, high-quality service – these are the advantages that customers of the mining sector will eventually be able to take advantage of. Also, TotalEnergies Marketing Russia and Minetech Machinery have a common goal to reduce CO2 emissions. For our part we are ready to offer our expertise and high-quality oils for HITACHI diesel-electric dump trucks, which will reduce emissions,” Pascal Rigaud, CEO of TotalEnergies Marketing Russia, a subsidiary of the TotalEnergies concern in Russia, commented on the agreement.

“TotalEnergies is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of lubricants. The partnership of our companies will ensure stable and efficient operation of Hitachi mining equipment in difficult conditions in Russia. This is especially important because of the upcoming deliveries of Hitachi mining equipment to customers’ mining enterprises in the next few years,” said Akzhan Isaev, Sales Director of Minetech Machinery.

The agreement is signed for three years and begins on January 1, 2022.
