In March 2020 MINETECH MACHINERY started up Hitachi EX2600Е-6 excavator at Kirbinskiy coal mine in Khakassia region, part of Russian Coal group, one of the largest coal producers in Russia.
In 2019, the production volume at Kirbinskiy coal mine amounted to 1.3 million tons. In 2020, it is planned to increase the company’s productivity to 2.2 million tons, and in 2021 to 4 million tons. Hitachi EX2600E-6 excavator with a total weight of 248 tons is equipped 860 kW electric motor. Excavator equipped with a bucket of 15 m3, will carry out stripping and mining operations. The EX2600E-6 was assembled by seven Minetech Machinery mechanics in two weeks.
