Designed to work in challenging quarries and mines, our ultra-large EX2600-6 excavator is equipped with a powerful engine. Its large-capacity bucket is shaped to enhance scoop and loading operations and with a sharp tilt angle to boost efficiency.
A 17m3 backhoe bucket or 15m3 loading shovel bucket can load a Hitachi EH1700-3 dump truck in three to four passes. Both options offer significant breakout and digging force.
Productivity is also boosted by an auto-levelling mechanism for efficient levelling operations. Excellent visibility from the cab is assisted by four (optional) cameras, which eliminate blind spots on the job site.
Comfort in the cab
All controls in the cab of the EX2600-6 are within easy reach, which leads to greater operating efficiency. The electric joystick levers are easy to use and a multifunctional LCD monitor provides machine data at a glance. The cab is air-conditioned and pressurised to keep out dust while maintaining a comfortable working environment.
Durability is built in to the EX2600-6, which incorporates a durable rigid box design and solid cast track frame. To prevent damage from rocks, the excavator has high-mounted compact travel motors and an optional travel motor guard. Rugged track links with added roller guides have helped to extend service intervals.
